SELOS DOS CORREIOS COM MOTOS PORTUGUESAS DESDE A SMC À V5, OS MODELOS MAIS FAMOSOS FABRICADOS EM PORTUGAL ILUSTRAM NOVOS SELOS DOS CTT

Lançada no dia 4 de Julho, em Faro, em colaboração com o Moto Clube de Faro, trata-se de uma colecção de quatro selos e um bloco filatélico que mostram algumas das máquinas de duas rodas que fizeram nome no nosso país.

A história das motos em Portugal, desde a famosa Famel Foguete (1959), passando pela V5 e SMC até à Casal K 287, com o revolucionário conceito de motor suspenso e exportado para todo o mundo, ou a Pachancho (1858), todos os exemplares são referidos na mais recente emissão de selos dos Correios de Portugal.

A emissão filatélica dedicada à motos portuguesas vem muito a propósito numa empresa a cuja actividade este veículo de transporte está desde há muito intimamente ligado. As motos são, ainda hoje, um dos meios utilizados pelos Carteiros dos CTT na distribuição da correspondência, sobretudo fora dos grandes centros urbanos
